Yeah, mostly. I'm ready for summer, but can't really complain. I looked at some material for my Managerial Cost Accounting test tomorrow... and I was thinking to myself, "Wow, this is pretty easy and straightforward." Perhaps the homework really cemented the concept in my brain, I don't know. But it feels really odd to be in an upper-level Accounting class thinking that. I keep feeling like I should be studying, in anticipation of the test bringing something I didn't look at or something. ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif)

Studying in anticipation is overrated. ![Tongue Tongue](smileys/smiley17.gif) Studying the night before the test, that's another story. ![Wink Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif) And seems to me you need to get outside as well. ![Tongue Tongue](smileys/smiley17.gif) The mp3 player/i-Pod is a good companion.

Good to hear. I found Managerial Cost Accounting to be really easy and straightforward as well back in the day, and was amazed by the number of people who couldn't grasp the concepts.

Scott, so far I'm really liking the album. As I said over in the discussion thread, the first song made me think immediately of Guru Guru's UFO and really pulled me in. I'm liking the overall feel of the album for sure. ![Thumbs Up Thumbs Up](smileys/smiley20.gif) |

Yeah, that's true. And I probably do. The only times I ever really get outside are for class. I would go outside more if I had somewhere to go, and also if my neighbourhood was more of an interesting sight. Living in the inner city doesn't really give you much to look at other than buildings. I love playing tennis about in this weather, but I haven't in years since I don't really have anyone else to play with. It's not something where you can go to the court and play by yourself.

I expected it to be much tougher because of what people were saying and also because I don't care a whole lot for Managerial Accounting, but so far it hasn't really given me any trouble. Our teacher is notoriously difficult though, so she makes it harder than it should be. That's the only reason I have any slight worries.

People have told me that my whole life, but I'm not so sure about it. I was just born with a natural interest in learning all sorts of stuff, so I spent alot of my childhood as such. In elementary school I was definitely always treated as gifted; then when I skipped two grades and entered high school (which was private and accelerated), I didn't feel like such a big fish in a small pond anymore. It was a good experience, but it really over-prepared me for college, as I had about anywhere from 5-7 hours of homework every night there. Even now with my upper-level classes, I still don't have that; it's a completely different atmosphere. But it's a good thing, since by my Senior year I was burned out anyway. Now in college though I'm back to feeling like a big genius fish again.

I hate that feeling, I used to do that all the time in high school. At least my fear was usually unfounded.
|
Me too. I'm hoping that's the case this time as well because I decided I'm not going to waste much more of my time worrying about it.
|
I've got a microbiology test next Monday. I should probably start studying for it tomorrow...I hate that class quite a lot.
|
I hate my Accounting Information Systems class, but that's mainly because the teacher sucks and I'm not really an IT guy.
Most of my classes I'm indifferent to or like. But hating a class does make it harder to study for tests and what not, definitely.
|
I haven't had any classes that have been hard yet, I am hoping my math classes will be more interesting soon.

All right. I understand the tennis situation because I'm in it as well. Jeez! I have to go to Slovenia to play it! O_o However, there are also parks. Oh and... other people!

This and last semester have presented me some relatively challenging courses, the hardest so far being Tax Accounting, but that's it.

I thought my programming classes would be hard, but they weren't. I also thought college algebra would be hard, but it is just algebra 2 all over again. I blame that on my great math teacher.

I tested out of all mathematics courses except Calculus, thankfully, so I didn't have to go through much repeat there. Even that was easier than when I had it in high school though.
