It might be best to ask such questions in the forum for that site.Wink

This notion did occur to me but I still prefer the PA's nice an cozy forum to the dark and somewhat depressing one on MMA. I'm sure it comes with the territory but it will take a while until I'll start take proper use of it.
The site itself is looks very nice, so there's definitely no problem there. Thumbs Up

Thanks, guys!

I thought of it as soon as I read M@X's post and pictured it being beyond the definition of awesomeness. I think I would spend even more time there than PA. LOL

I thought of Avant-Garde Archives, for all the artists that are always classified as avant but not rock. LOL

I would absolutely love an avant-garde website, provided it covered all forms of avant-garde music. However, that would be quite a mammoth undertaking.

You don't always need a separate website for every genre.Big smile

Well I think the new Metal website is a good idea, but it seems a lot of people now suggest individual sites for Electronic, Avant-Garde, AOR etc etc. Before we know it every genre - Symphonic, RIO, Crossover etc will all be suggested. Seems crazy that's all especially when you can already do this seperately in each genre right here on Prog ArchivesConfused

No.  You won't find Guns N Roses here, but you will on MMA, which has nothing to do with prog directly.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Electronic and Avant-Garde are both big enough with enough sub-genres to warrant their own websites, I think.

I hear what you're saying Chris, but the whole Electronic Music genre is under-represented here (and elsewhere on the Internet) since Electronic Prog excludes Electro-Accoustic, Experimental Electronic, Electronica, New Age, Synth-Pop, Techno, IDM, EBM, Darkwave, I could keep going, but look at this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electronic_music_genres  - of which Electronic Prog (and a bit of JR/F) covers the the smallest percentage. It would be a brave and bold move to create a site that links all forms of electronic music, just as the PA links all forms of Progressive Music.
What?
