I suspect I'll try to find the time to go through some of my golden oldies from way back when for the new site. Tank, Blitzkrieg, Nasty Savage....ah, those were the days ;-)

I've registered and started reviewing. I like quite a bit of metal, so I'll have a good time over there. I'm also really psyched about Classical and Jazz archives.

I think one might as well add in Traditional Hard Rock at that site as well - covers more ground, and many acts will be bordering between the two anyhow ;-)

The new site is FANTASTIC M@x! Just signed up under the same name. If you need any help adding artists, albums or bios, I'd love to help out.

I noticed that thereīs a metalcore sub but not a deathcore sub. So Iīd like to suggest a Deathcore sub and well also a Hardcore sub. I realise that Hardcore is rooted in punk and punk isnīt exactly metal but there are many hardcore artists that blend metal elements into their sound. Take Biohazard or Hatebreed for example.

Maybe just expand the Traditional Heavy Metal sub and call it Traditional Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Bands like AC/DC and Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin would fit better in a genre like that IMO. Edited by UMUR - March 26 2010 at 03:07 |

Will all bios and added albums from the three metal subs automatically be transfered to MMA or will we have to move all the work weīve done here to MMA manually over time? ( Iīm a technical amateur, so please bear with me if my questions seem silly)

Great news Max - best of luck with the new sister site.
I look forward to the forum arguments Instead of 'that isn't metal, it's prog!', are we to get the 'that isn't prog, it's metal!' arguments?? [edit] I also look forward to a huge argument when Robbie Williams is suggested for Metal-Related, as he used to play a thrash version of 'Back For Good' as an encore Edited by Jim Garten - March 26 2010 at 03:52 |

The name escapes me now, but there's also a case of a hardcore christian pop/gosepl artist that made an album covering hard rock and metal tunes from a few years ago ;-) |
