April and May in Madrid?

   Hi all,
I will be travelling to Madrid from early April to early June. I've never had the chance to go to Europe and would not really know how to start looking for the local music scene.

Does anybody have any recommendations on either bars/venues for interesting music? Possibly local band names I could search for through MySpace? Big or small, if you know of anybody interesting playing in the city I would appreciate the information.
