I think its less consistent but better in the amazing moments. Heaven And Weak is orgasmic on so many levels.

I'll give it another spin tommorrow, in between study and watching Australia thrash NZ again.

I feel like Judgement now, depressing music FTW.

I still really want/need Judgement, I might give A Fine Day To Exit a spin after this.

Yes, you do need Judgement. Atmospheric Melodic Doom with clean vocals and acoustics at it's best.

This track contains so much win.

Tell me about it. I don't have enough money each week to satisfy my insatiable hunger. Every time I go to the record store I could spend several hundred dollars. But I also have to eat and pay rent. Cry

Speaking of Anathema... http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=65970

My immediate wishlist is:

Toby Driver - In The L... L... Library Loft
Tartar Lamb - s/t
Kayo Dot - Dowsing Anemone With Copper Tongue
Kayo Dot - Coyote
Kayo Dot - the EP which they're releasing sometime this year
the IEM boxset
Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize bluray
No-man - Wild Opera

And any albums by Devin Townsend, Isis, Katatonia, Pendragon and Zappa.

f**k I need a job soon.

I'll probably order that with Judgement and (possibly) Judgement 4, depending on the costs.

I must say that A4 is a weird album in the sense that it never really feels that profound, and then you think about it after finishing it and you feel like saying 'oh that was sweet'.

A Fine Day To Exit is really quite average overall, although the few post-metal tracks are fantastic. Just a shame they had to put tracks like this on it, if they cut it down to the 4 awesome tracks they'd have a 5 star EP.

Do want that album now, I'll just add it to the list.

It's no surprise that SW is involved with Anathema, after all, Anathema opened for PT during the LS/In Absentia era.

That would've been cool. I feel ripped off Katatonia didn't open for PT in Australia, especially since all the posters in music stores here promoting Night Is The New Day as touring with PT from december.

I only have the latest, although I've heard The Great Cold Distance once. The latest is really just alt-rock, but still fantastic, but TGCD is much more post-metally and a bit more experimental. Both really awesome, here's my fave track so far:

I'll probably get Viva Emptiness soon as well, its the only album they have in stock here other than NITND for some reason.

Anyway... it's high time for me to get and do some reading. I am a student, and I haven't been doing much studying lately, so I shall see you later.
