It's popular and therefore cannot be any good.

Nova nearly blows it to a 15 seed in OT.

They should be glad they got that #2 gift, they probably would have lost against a 13 or 14.

I know, I was so freaking worried as I have Nova in the Final 4.

They better get their act together.

I'm not sure they survive much longer.

Grrrrrrrr. Well, everything else has been going my way so far, and they DID win, so that's okay. It's just that I have to beat my dad this year. He never watches sports yet has this extremely weird gift to be able to pick the brackets really well nearly every year.

I don't watch sports and I could make a great bracket.

He's won 6 out of the last 7 years, and my brother won the other. This year I actually made an effort to learn alot more about it, so I'm hoping it pays off. Besides the near-Villanova disaster (which I don't think anyone could have seen coming), I'm doing really well.

So far, anyway. Knock on wood, as Vanderbilt is currently losing.

It is a very good album, but I think that Wish You Were Here and Animals are much better (and more progressive.)

Oh, if you stay around it will be, I'd be there already if I actually posted for the first year or so I was a member of the forums. LOL  99.9% of my posts are probably in Shred threads.

Believe it or not, I went my first 6 months hardly posting at all. LOL

For how long? It's been stuck in my head for at least a month. Not good when you're having several exams, I tell ya.
Actually, just since yesterday.  But I had a hard time falling asleep last night because that choir kept repeating itself over and over in my head.

So it's not chronic! Lucky you! As a matter of fact for about half an hour or so today I had Lord of the Ages stuck in my head. (woohoo!) But then boom: "Hey hey hey! I wish to borrow Palestine!"

Eh, I don't mind it not being very progressive. For some reason I always think of it is some kind of proto-crossover prog.

Yes, I think it is definitely a great Crossover album.  In my opinion, I still give it 4 stars, and it was also the first "real" album (i.e. not by Weird Al Yankovic) I've ever listened to.

Wish You Were Here is semi-prog to me.  "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" isn't that prog at all.

No.

I actually had been on PA since 2005, so I actually knew who people were then without ever having talked to them. I pretty much solely lurked from 2005 to 2008 though, with the exception of posting with 1 old account that I have since terminated.

What is it, then?  I will give you that it isn't very complex (Floyd never really was,) but I definitely would consider it Prog.

So you got sucked into the Avant black hole after you joined?

I actually lurked at PA for a few months before I joined as well (mainly to check out the albums in the PA Top 100.)

Yes. I actually wasn't too much of a music person before 2004/2005; that was when I listened to Rush, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. It was my early formative stages. Then I signed up for last.fm, but I didn't start posting on PA until about 2 years later.
