It's just that I have to beat my dad this year. He never watches sports yet has this extremely weird gift to be able to pick the brackets really well nearly every year. I don't watch sports and I could make a great bracket.

He's won 6 out of the last 7 years, and my brother won the other. This year I actually made an effort to learn alot more about it, so I'm hoping it pays off. Besides the near-Villanova disaster (which I don't think anyone could have seen coming), I'm doing really well.

So far, anyway. Knock on wood, as Vanderbilt is currently losing.

Eh, I don't mind it not being very progressive. For some reason I always think of it is some kind of proto-crossover prog.

I actually lurked at PA for a few months before I joined as well (mainly to check out the albums in the PA Top 100.)

Yes. I actually wasn't too much of a music person before 2004/2005; that was when I listened to Rush, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. It was my early formative stages. Then I signed up for last.fm, but I didn't start posting on PA until about 2 years later.
