The problem is, we rate albums, not songs (well I try to anywhere- there are few cases where a few songs carry an album, but these are usually in the 20+ minute range).

David Bowie is a lot like Queen for me- some amazing songs, but no truly outstanding albums.

I can't argue with that.  I like his greatest hits album but have been kind of meh on his albums that I do have, including Ziggy.
