It makes me laugh because it looks like a mix of Trevor and Tabor, which is indeed funny. Tongue

    See what I mean?

    Foreigners!

I have no idea what makes that "indeed funny."

Well, Trevor sounds like a normal, down-to-Earth person, while Tabor is such a tremendous religious item - humour comes from the contrast of the complete opposites.

Definitions of Tabor on the Web:

    • a small drum with one head of soft calfskin

    • Tábor is a city of the Czech Republic, in the South Bohemian Region. It is named after Mount Tabor, which is believed by many to be the place of ...

In response to Josh and Scott:

"Ultra Liberalism is an extreme form of Economic Liberalism.

It is the view (sometimes called Minimal Statism, or Minarchism) that government should be as small as possible.

Ultra-liberalist usually agree that government should be restricted to its "minimal" state functions of government (courts, police, prisons, defense). Some other minarchists include in the role of government the management of essential common infrastructure (roads, money). For Ultra-Liberals, the role of government in enforcing moral order should be limited to null.

Minarchists often accept as valid some of current government's domain, and consider it more urgent to stop the expansion of government than to reduce its domain to any particular size. Minarchists are generally opposed to government programs which transfer wealth or whichsubsidize certain sectors of the economy."

    Also:

Economic Liberalism is the variation of Liberalism that emphasizes Independence over NonConformance.

People in this category will tend to have stronger opinions about favoring individual initiatives (lower taxes, less corporate and environmental regulations, ...) than about loosening the moral order (gay rights, ecology, drug legalization,...)

Yeah, so that pretty much works for me.

I believe it means more so economically liberal than the typical U.S. usage of the term.

See.. here's the difference. In order for me to be where I am except on the "right" side of that line, then I would have to be

Ultra Capitalism is an extreme form of Economic Conservatism.

Unlike Ultra_Liberalists, Ultra-Capitalists believe in a strong and unliform moral order, this means that the role of government is limited to enforcing traditional values (lifestyle, religion, laws, ..) and maintaining its strength (army, police, justice).

And I don't believe in a government moral order. Government shouldn't get involved in abortion, homosexuality, religion, or anything else. Those are all private choices.

And why the heck does this keep extending the bottom of my posts? Weird.

I was being somewhat facetious. Tongue

I just am extremely idealistic. Principles mean alot to me, and I tend to find myself not in the normal pool of people's views politically:

    1. Because I care
    2. Because most of the time I actually know what I'm talking about before I talk about it; if I don't, I say I don't know or don't contribute

And those two reasons are why I would fail at being a politician.
