My first avatar was the little drummer boy on the most famous Marillion cover. Regarding my current avatar : I don't want to change it as people identify me through it. I don't understand your argumentation to support your rating : you rate it low just because it is "old" ? what about the content ???

My signature illustrates the open-mindedness of a country-rock artist, which is not that common in this environment (in fact, Hank Willimas III can play country-rock songs and the most extreme hardcore/metal music during the same concert). And you didn't make any comment on the quotation.

As for you, Bartek :
2,5/5 for the avatar : original but awful !
1/5 for the signature : bearded guys that could be your usual next corner tramp and the forehead of a guy you couldn't identify if you don't know his dscography (yes, I see only his forehead).

4.2 for the avatar, as I don't know what it is but find it cool
4.6 at the sig 'cause it makes me want to check out these albums.

At Lucas:

4,5/5 for the avatar
2/5 for the sig. I noticed your sig a while ago on the same day that some friends of mine made me listen to Assjack. I didn't enjoy it at all but it was a funny kind of coincidence.

The avatar is a drawing of mine, on the basis of a photography.
It depicts birds on high tension wires.

Regarding the sig : once again, it's to highlight the versatility of a country-rock artist (do you know any other famous country-rock artist who is into metal/hardcore ???). And I am curious to see this guy play both his country songs and his punk/hardcore songs on stage (the 'III' is a clear reference to the 4 bars on the Black Flag albums, cf below)  which should occur this year as he will release a new album, and his tour will hopefully include France. A guy I met at a recent Melvins concert (he is around 50 y.o. and saw a lot of concerts in his life including Gong during their heydays) told me he never saw a concert as impressive as Hank III's one  he attended recently : a first set of country-rock songs, then change of audience and backing band with a set of hardcore songs, then new change of audience and backing band wiht a set of death metal songs !!!! This prompted me to check Hank III's discography...and I wasn't disappointed ! (those who know me know that I am the open-minded guy, who can switch easily from Carl Nielsen to Death, and from Mahmoud Ahmed to Dream Theater...)

4 stars for the avatar
2 stars for the sig. I don't like the mixture of blood-like with cute birds.

4 for both the avatar and the sig, as I said before.
I'm curious to know how many people here enjoy Baudelaire...

The sig is from Les fleurs du mal, as you said. Remords posthumes, precisely.

I've discovered him just recently. I found some similarities with Baudelaire (I think) Tongue

It's off-topic, but Baudelaire was a good friend of E. A. Poe's and translated most of his prose.

Yes, I know
And he did it well, if you ask me.
I rarely saw such good translations. Smile

Just by curiosity, where did you see it was Waters? Tongue
By the way, my last avatar was Waters.

The content is just your drawing which isn't very original... Tongue

The quotation made me think of another quotation known from a Polish movie "Rejs" and which is, as you may say, the anti-thesis of your quotation: "I like only those songs I've already heard once" said one of the characters in the film. LOL

Angry OMEGA rules!!! And you can see the eyes of Miles on the pic not his forehead.
