Hi Jon.
How are you doing?

Meh.  Tired since I woke up at 7:30am for some odd reason.  Plus, feeling that I've gotten off to a pretty underwhelming start on the ZART, and I know next week's not going to be too much better since I have a major project due in my music class.  Other than that, I'd say I'm doing pretty well.  How about yourself?

No worries. You did a good job evaluating bands + one bio.
I'm correct.

Hopefully I'll have more time in the coming week than I think I will, but I want to really impress the graders with this project.  I'm getting a good grade in the class already, but it's one of those rare classes which I think is absolutely fun, so I enjoy going above and beyond what I need to do.   The project has to be a 60-second musical creation made up of 2-second clips of other pieces, and it's supposed to sound "musical".  I'll probably stretch that last requirement a bit, but that's just the avant-garde fan in me coming out.  Regardless, I want to make sure all the transitions are smooth, etc, so I'm probably going to put a lot of time into this.

^ That sounds awesome Jon, I definitely want to hear it when it's done.

What do you want to sample?

I'm not quite sure what all I want to use exactly yet, but I do think I'm going to use some Zeuhl, jazz, etc.  I want it to display both the strange musical ideas I've got floating around in my head and the strange music I enjoy. LOL

P.S.  Your new sig is...different. Tongue

@Jon: I thought you'd appreciate my new theme.

It's funny though that James said it's disturbing. LOL

The cats look like they are stuffed, which is a bit creepy.

I'll see how it turns out before I release it to people other than the teacher.  LOL  Some of my stuff for the class has turned out well, while other stuff...well, let's just say it's a good thing they mainly care that you follow the directions given for the lab.

I'd say it's strange, I probably wouldn't go quite so far as disturbing. LOL
