Anyway, I do believe Alex's cats and mine might come from the same source - very probably Japanese, since they seem to be specialized in taking pics of dressed-up cats (hence the murderous captionsLOL).

This is my source: http://www.petoffice.co.jp/catprin/english/

If you have enough negative cred, it is positive cred.

Save your money and spend it on music.
Really? My friends who love them said I'd like them, and I can't deny enjoying the four or five tracks they've recommended so far
I'm just an old fart. I borrowed Catch 33 from the library and I had to turn it off before it was over I thought that it was soooooooooooooooo horrible. I listen to almost anything and I am not one to skip tracks but I could not stand another second of that album.

Holy sh*t, really? I'll probably give them a miss for now at least then.

As said, that album is a grower and not really a good starter, unless you already like weird sluggish tech/avant/eight-string guitar metalTongue

I love it though, but you should try out Destroy Erase Improve and Chaosphere first.

SCLiking any PT (and SW related) - ∞
Fixed.

Awesome so I have roughly +30 from Zappa, Zorn and Magma from the ZART side, about 50 from the post bands I like, and negative infinity from the roughly 25 discs I own which SW appears on

Auto fail. Tongue

What about me then? Prog Metal and some post Metal and nothing else...?
At least I hate SW projects and that have to count right...?
Change the program inside... Stay in silence is a crime.

I don't really believe Meshuggah will ever be Scott's cup of tea.... His tastes run in a different direction, and I have to admit that they are hard to take for myself as well. Melody, in my opinion, is a very important component of music, and they seem to have taken it out of the equation almost completely.

Then the closest would be their earliest tech/thrash material then. A bit more melody than on later stuff.

Hey, I didn't realize Hendrix released a new album. He hasn't done that in decades.

Also, all of Catch 33 is for streaming on last.fm except for one track, so I'll give that a listen a bit later.
