Yeah, that's right.

Now you made me have to listen too. LOL

YES

SPREADING THE LOVE FOR NUMBERS, COLORS, AND OTHER BOARD OF CANADA TYPE STUFFS

Speaking of which... they had no "color" on their most recent album; I was disappointed. On the debut, it was ORANGE; on Geogaddi, it was YELLOW; on Campfire there was nothing. Ouch

You need to fix that. It's pretty much just as good as their first two releases. I'm extremely hard-pressed to pick a favorite or to order them, my order always changes.

What we need though is a new BoC album. It's supposed to be this year; it's been 5 years since their last.

If they do release it this year, I'm highly suspecting it could be my album of the year.

I think I saw it at B & N last time I was there, I'll pick it up if it is still there. I want to buy a book soon.

By the way, I hope I at least kinda answered your earlier question. If you want to know anything else, just let me know.

I'd say personally for me that it's the building foundation for everything you ever compose or improvise. Practicing with a metronome is always a good tool to get a better sense of timing and rhythm, though I'm sure you don't have to worry about that. It's really just the way that you can manipulate rhythms and create compositions built around a time signature (or more than one) that is the fun part. The idea itself is rather abstract though, but isn't music just an abstract way of constructing a building?

That's the way I look at it anyway.

Unless the book is written by Ayn Rand, get the Boards of Canada album. Wink
