The only reason I play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is because I think it is funny to shoot people with the Barret 50 caliber sniper rifle.

I don't know why, it is just satisfying. Smile
But I don't really like that game, I can't play it for very long without getting bored, it gets redundant.

And apparently PF weren't space rock.

Yeah... I feel the same... it's like disstressful to shoot people and kill enemies, but after an hour it's not fun anymore...

now, about PF... don't know man... but I should try to shoot them as well... Wink

Have you heard Here Be Monsters yet?  That one is one of the highlights.

Random must dislike me for making it take the night off last night...it chose my least favorite PT album.  Why couldn't it have chosen In Absentia or TSMS?  I like both of those a lot more than this one.

Pink Floyd's early albums contain pioneering development of space rock on some tracks; "Astronomy Domine" [7] and "Interstellar Overdrive" [8] from their debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn are examples. Their second album A Saucerful of Secrets contained further examples: "Let There Be More Light" and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" with explicit science fiction themes, that also manifested itself in so-called Googie architecture. In early 1971, Pink Floyd began writing the song that would become known as Echoes, from the 1971 album Meddle. The song was performed from April until September 1971, with an alternate set of lyrics, written about two planets meeting in space. Before the Meddle album released, the lyrics were changed to an aquatic theme, due to the band's concern that they were being labelled as a Space Rock band.

Pretty sure I do.

Fear of a Blank Planet.  It's not bad either (plus Anesthetize just came on which is my favorite from the album) but it doesn't stand equal to the other two I mentioned in my meager PT library.

I admit that Anesthetize is a decent song.

Signify through In Absentia is my favourite PT period.  I agree that Fear of a Blank Planet is good, just not a favorite.  Anesthetize is also my favorite, for biased reasons.  i.e. I really like the guest guitar player. LOL

^I'd say more than decent, it was good enough to get me to listen to more of their material. Tongue  I'd say it's definitely a good song.
