Doh!  I forgot it's a log-in only forum.  Essentially I made a post introducing the people there to progressive rock, giving them bands which were at varying levels of difficulty to get into.  It was pretty epic IMO, but it needs updated.

That reminds me, does anyone remember a post about the different levels of prog or something, and the seventh level was free jazz? I wanted to necro post to say I had finally ascended to the top.

I remember a thread about that too.

I suggested Merzbow was the top. Tongue

And were there conversions? Any success?

Nine other people responded, but it never made it past the first page. LOL

I....have not.

Why is that?  Confused

I don't know, maybe because the collection of the albums is $50 on Wayside.

I just read this sentence 5 times in my head and twice out loud, and it still doesn't make any sense to me. Confused

I'm referring to painkillers. LOL

Hello, Mr. Sock.

Hey, Mr. Cat Matt Person. What's up?

Just listened to Geodaddi for the first time. I am now thinking BoC > SAW

Geogaddi is absolute win, and I agree. BoC > Aphex Twin, and Aphex Twin is pretty awesome.

I think I like Aphex's other stuff better than BoC, that is why I specifically stated SAW.Smile

Understandable.

I'd say SAW 1 is my favorite, but all his stuff is good.
