LOL

I infiltrated and acted nice just once. It was all over when I mistake biscuits with scones (in images).

Here is post number 1 from Shred Room Number 1:

QUOTE=rushfan4]

I've joked about doing this, so I figure what the heck, let's give it a go.  I have created The Shred Room as a forum oasis for us thirty-somethings or thereabouts to kick back take our shoes off and talk about whatever it is we feel like talking about.  The thought is that this room will fill the void for those of us that are too old to hang out in the Suede Room, but not old enough to hang out in the Shed.

It's not like I don't talk endlessly about anything elsewhere anyways but I thought that it might be fun to have a room set up specifically for such a thing.   Anyhow, if your Clearasil using days are in the past, and your Just For Men hair coloring days are still in the future please stop in and chat.  We need help with the decor and deciding what album covers to hang up on the wall.

Why was that?

Let's just say the Shred revived everything, at least up to a decent level.

Of course, the Shred was targeted for age 25-40, but we barged in anyway. LOL

Maybe they meant it in maturity, not how long it has been since your mother gave birth to you.

We had Jody (The Progtologist) in the VR. Age and race rooms formed later.

Wow, being on on spring break has helped me boost my scrobbles, I think I've scrobbled about 200 tracks, and that doesn't count all the Myspace samples or the Masada Marathon thing.

I used to chase all of you young'uns out but after a while I'd just find myself alone talking to myself so I became happy for the company.  But like with weeds, you give 'em an inch and they take the whole yard.

I joined on February, posted only twice, didn't felt the site was great at all, and never returned until July, then started spamming grossly.

Wait a minute.

February...

HOLY ****!!
I joined on Feb. 27 2005. Five years ago! Shocked
I totally forgot about that date.

It makes me wish the "find member's posts" function worked as it should, by finding every post a member has made. I want to see how much I have changed since I joined.

How could this be?! I thought whenever it's the 27th of the month, you wake up with your fingers crossed and wait to see what is going to happen that day. LOL

That's always funny. Especially the first thread you open in the Prog Forums, that's always something to remember LOL

"Genesis vs. Yes", with the first phrase "Sorry if this has been done before".

What's so special?

The search only brings up the avant-rock thread I made. It doesn't find the Comus thread or my intro.

Seeing how you once were a total n00b is always fun, especially when you're a veteran. LOL

Those were the days...Smile

Yeah, I went through a period where I just spent a whole lot of time on here.

I'm pretty sure I've out-posted Ben and even Harry; I still have the record for most posts in a day. Tongue

I just have more of a life now than I used to... I guess. LOL

If I saw my newbie self posting I would probably try trolling him nowadays. He was such a wimp.

Having a life isn't a bad thing, but neither is shredding. Smile
