Finished :
This is a compilation of the first 4 albums. I only listened to the first CD (the first two albums 'hand sown...home grown' (1969) and 'silk purse' (1970))
Currently :
Powerful, groovy and chaotic album. Recommended to fans of Led Zeppelin.

This is the title of a song from her first album. I was a bit surprised by this song title...

Was this band ever suggested to PA ? This album sounds like a more powerful and progier Led Zeppelin

Ya'll are killing me today. First The Decemberists. Now Linda. I love this woman, by which I mean her voice. Probably to the point of stalker potential if I were so inclined. Hell, I have her Christmas album, just to hear that voice.
Plus, she's proggy. Get Closer. Probably only the pop song to hit the top 40 that's in 7/4 time.

amen to that... funny... I can't listen to it without thinking of your posts about listening to it with your daughter. When we saw them last year, Raff and I were next to a group of teenage girls and was sort of ..an experience.. singing the HoL IV with kids half your age ..all with tears in your eyes at the sheer beauty of the words and the music. Very touching...

hahahha... when you start the Linda for PA's campaign.. throw in some Dionne Warwick as well.. Talk about another voice from heaven... in 5/4, 4/4, to 7/8 to 5/8... all in 8 bars.
