It was my second listen of that library discovery, and while the title track is fantastic and the other songs feel pretty good too, I feel the album stays a bit too samey for its whole duration... But it's clearly good enough to go on my shopping list, perhaps it'll grow on me like Nebraska did Smile I just ordered The River, will probably get it next monday, then I've got everything from Asbury Park to U.S.A. and then it's time to branch out to the newer stuff Smile

Just finished this magnificent album :
Sacred vocal music

Muzyka z XIII-XIV-wiecznych klasztorów klarysek polskich
Music from 13th and 14th century polish Clarisse convents

Another reason to be proud of my origins.

Now on this one :

"Magma was the very first gothic rock band" (Didier Lockwood)

Stars 'n Bars is far from his best, but it's a solid good album with that one gem Smile I feel like listening to some more Neil, perhaps Live Rust or something, but I think it's bedtime instead... I've had Bruce's Downbound Train playing in my head all day, I love that track so I'll just mentally listen to that one Heart

Matt, sorry you didn't see my post yesterday about translating the lyrics of "Emozioni" (the song) for you as a belated b'day present.. I was so stupid as to post it when you were offlineCry!

Now, something Jay will definitely approve of:

wow, stellar line-up, including the incredible Tony on drums. Yes, jackie is great, destination out is damn good album.

After the stunning 'cha cha with Tito Puente at Crossinger's, I am now listening to this album, just as good as Soro or Folon, but more on the "melodic side" somewhat reminiscent of the AfroCelt Sound System without the dub/electro thing:
