Edit: oh, not bad.  I've been busy socialising though so my P.A. time has been cut.  I'm also moving out into a bedsit soon and won't know when I'll have the Internet yet.  I'll be sorting it out as soon as possible though.

Mmmm Univers Zéro's Straight Edge from Clivages is amazing.

I shall, thanks!

Life sounds good pour toi!

:)

Did you have time to check her out?

Cool, glad you like it. I suggested it to Uwe in the psych team and he loved it as well.
Have you heard Tribal Logic, also from the RAIG label? They're here in PA (avant), and released an interesting album called Freaky Karma, which is quite eclectic in nature, but not too bad.

No, haven't heard. Should I try to check them out?

Larsen Rupin is pretty awesome, I suggested them for addition recently, so far they've got two yes votes, it's looking promising.  I haven't been able to find A Ban anywhere, but their other two albums are both available to purchase on Wayside Music.

Thanks - I still haven't seen Koenjihyakkei live, so this is much appreciated!

I've watched a few videos, but I've never seen anyone dance that much.

French people don't dance at shows: they look and gauge at each other.

Sweet, these dudes are one of my favs. From the samples, this effort seems like it's going to be a quite a bit more modest than what they've forged in the past, but it still sounds very nice.

Kinda feels like what Univers Zero did this year in way, in regards to reverting back to a more conventional style of chamber music.

Seconded. Take your time, hope everything turns good. Smile
By the way, thanks for your votes on Ensemble SuperMusique and Klaxon Gueule (which are now here)

The audio used for remastering album was a fresh 24 bit transfer from the master tapes
Remastering was done with the supervision and direct involvement of the original band members

A playlist I made of a few extracts from the album

http://soundcloud.com/udi-koomran/sets/eskaton-4-visions-expanded-remastered

I will try to post a few more that also include some samples from the bonus tracks

From my point of view the end result shows a subtle yet significant improvement when compared with the previous cd edition especially in terms of tonal balance and transient response.
All in all one of the most satisfying archive/ restoration works I had the chance to work on.

While not listed, I think we could sneak Little Women in (think The Flying Luttenbachers, but actually good), but even if we couldn't, I think they would be of interest to you guys. I think in any case Throat will end up high on my 2010 list.

I can't wait for this one to arrive, I've been excited for it ever since I saw you were working on it.

Yeah, I enjoyed the sample you linked to a while back in the Shred.
