Mm, I love Uncle Meat. That's a very fun album. I've never listened to Kansas' debut, and Animals is pretty good (though I like early PF more than later PF).

not much of a Kansas fan.. but I really did like the debut. Check it out! Tongue

I actually don't love Uncle Meat nearly as much as some of the other Zappa albums from the era (Absolutely Free, We're Only In It For The Money, Hot Rats, etc.). I have a tough time making it through all 3 LPs, to be honest.

^^ Hey look at that. There is my number 1 pick for 2009. The Nemo album, not the Saga one, although I really like that one too.

It's a pretty good album, I got it back when I had eMusic and listened to it a few times, then kind of forgot I had it for a while. Embarrassed

Heavy Horses is one of my favorite JT albums, along with Minstrel in the Gallery and Songs from the Wood.
