I'm doing fine. I've been waiting for two weeks for these Miriodor albums and they still aren't here Cry
Ah well. Things could be worse. One week of break.

I have Year 11 retreat from monday to wednesday this week, then thursday and friday off, then the weekend, then Canberra day (public holiday for no real reason other than living in Canberra)
Good to hear you're doing well though! Congrats on the promotion, btw

Do you know of any websites that are similar to PA except avant-garde only?

Kinda hope NZ wins to piss off Ricky Ponting. I don't even watch cricket but he makes me rage with his stupid swiss vitamins adds and whatnot.

No, but it'd be cool. If you're looking for musique concrete and musique fraîche (avant-garde sub-genres), you could try this.

Kangaroos will fail, unless they are from Silicon Valley.

LOL Wow, you can't be serious. An album doesn't take that long to arrive. Two months!
And merci, I've been waiting a long time for that

PA is good, it is just that there is virtually no info about RIO/Avant besides the most famousest groups.

LOL But I've searched for hours on the net to find new bands. I've once checked all the RIO/Avant European bands I could find samples a while ago.

Clap To you. I mostly just want to know what an artist sounds like before I try their music. Avant-garde is a pretty broad term.

Of course, some really weren't my cup of tea. So I kind of losed time then. I found a couple of great bands too, though.

I Hate Music is the only dedicated avant forum I can think of, but you know how they are taste wise. Although some of them are pretty awesome, a guy mailed me some piezo discs for free!

The couple of songs on Youtube from Three of a Perfect Pair are surprisingly good, I just wish they were shorter. It's more poppy than even most Crimson, but it's not annoying because it's honest about being poppy, and is sorry about that and gives me some dissonance to make up for it.

Also, the sax on Red is dreadful.
