yepper...Sad Wings ranks just below Ghost Reveries as my favorite Prog Metal album. I enjoy Symphony X. Why one and not the other? Who knows... probably just better music. It guess it just boils down to that when it comes to funny things like preference. It is simply more interesting.. and enjoyable to listen to. |

My favorite Prog Metal album is Falling Into Infinity, though I doubt that's considered metal allthrough.
I've recommended that album(FII) to Raff, it's Dream Theater's unpopular album, just to give you an idea

My favorite Zappa album too (probably)! As for me, I'm playing an album that I haven't heard in a VERY long time. |

My late mother was a huge Frankie fan, and I grew up listening to him. Whatever one may think about his music, that voice was the stuff of dreams.

and he was a hunk as well... that didn't hurt I suppose either. I'd have played switch-hitter if he came to our door in a fedora singing to me. |

today listened to FS' 'sings for the lonely one'. An unusual Sinatra, in a sad mood, but really excellent as usual.

What a coincidence that this "morning"(12:30 pm) my parents put on a Sinatra record and that made me and my friends wake up
By the way, Raff, have you heard Tony Bennett? Edited by The Quiet One - February 27 2010 at 18:39 |

I like this album even more than the first time I listened to it. Some tracks even evoke the talk talk we like, "lung shadows" with its discreet trumpet and the fender rhodes, or "bluer than midnight". |

I've heard just about all of those singers, since my mom was very much into that kind of music. She was as big a music fan as I am, though of course our tastes were somewhat different. |
