Very dark music. Could be a winner for darkest music ever composed. And as his name suggests, Alfred Schnittke was a Russian composer ! (his father was of Lithuanian-Jewish origin, his mother taught German and his birthplace is Engels, the former capital of the Volga Republic). Edited by lucas - February 27 2010 at 16:27 |

This is something I need to give more attention to. As is Greendale from the later period. Perhaps tomorrow, I'm in a serious Neil mood now, only too tired...

I didn't mean that, and you know it It's just that I went to sleep at 5 am after having went to a party with some friends, I needed to take a nap sometime with an album I hadn't heard in a while, so it happened with Genesis.
Okay, what I'm listening to now is not something you'd approve Micky:

Out of the 8 songs, I only enjoy 3 of them, but those 3 are really great. The rest of the album is meh, straight-forward power metal and heavy metal.

TRUST, french hard-rock band. Album dedicated to the memory of Bon Scott, a good friend of Bernie Bonvoisin. "Tu bosses toute ta vie pour payer ta pierre tombale [...] Antisocial tu perds ton sang froid" -> Famous opening track "antisocial" latered covered by Anthrax. This french band never went popular in France...They toured more frequently abroad than in their own country ! Their first drummer was...Nicko Mc Brain ! And guess what...Clive Burr joined them for their fourth album 'IV (l'idéal)' |

You'd be surprised, Pablo... We actually prefer Symphony X to DT, and at any rate The Odyssey is one of my favourite pieces of literature of all times. Now: |

It's good, but I still think 'marche ou crève' (tread or die) is their best. |
