Cool.  Of course that means that you'll have to follow up with Queens of the Stone Age and then These Crooked Vultures.

The lyrics really interfere with my ability to enjoy Frank Zappa.  I think that his music could grow on me, but I outgrew his humor when I graduated high school.

I know what you mean, although Don't Eat the Yellow Snow is still funny to me.

I've always liked that one as stupid as it may be.  I also like Valley Girl, but that is more because it came out when I was like 12 and I liked it then.  But in reality that one is pretty bad too.

Perhaps you should try Them Crooked Vultures first. Wink  It'll probably be hard to find These Crooked Vultures.

While we are talking about lyrics, Squarepusher's Red Hot Car is good, but I will never be able to play it anywhere near my parents.

Sadly, I haven't heard it yet, but I am extremely intrigued by it.

He's heard Rated R. Hasn't heard any other QotSA or TCV yet though.

I'm fine with Zappa's lyrics.

I just never blast Joe's Garage when around certain people, obviously, haha.

It's good, but not great. Feels too much like the Foo Fighters', QotSA's, and Led Zeppelin's sounds were all thrown together on one album. Although it's definitely hard-rockin'.
