PROGRAMME CANCELLATION

8 hours before show time tonight  I have just been informed  that all normal music programmes have been cancelled tonight on radio station LCR, with election husting broadcasts being dropped into the schedule for this week only by the Student Union.

Therefore the playlist published immediately above will be held over until next Thursday 4th March, which will be the penultimate show before the Easter break, and then a 5 week close down.

Apologies for the delayed posting of info.

One of my Swedish contacts was raving on Facebook about 5 weeks ago, over a live performance  by the band  in Gothenburg and it appears the new album was being sold. Try to trackit down locally fora couple of weeks and gave up temporarily. A review in the latest Jazzwise magazine (received yesterday) has got me fired up so probably chasing it this weekend. Apparently they are touring the UK v soon.

It's a pity, missed your evening on air tonight (with new Jaga Jazzist). I got the copy few days ago, and I like it!

I don't put any tags up so that is a separate feed and nothing to do this show - possibly our sustain ticking away underneath....I'll check

OK. I just think it will be good to have artist/song name on tag when playing, if it's not a big problem.

Today's tag is "Journey"- "Don't stop Believing", not so bad Wink
