How short is a short order?

Examples:
a) Burger.
b) One hamburger.
c) Can I have . . . let's see . . . what should I have . . . I can't really decide . . . maybe one of those hamburgers . . . are they any good? . . . do you put onion in them? . . . can I have one without the onion? . . . oh, and no ketchup! . . . do you put ketchup in them? . . .
