A timely reminder. This thread currently sits in the PROG recommendations section. It is up to the participants, but it can either move to the general music section to allow a wider disucssion or, if it stays here, it's albums listed on this site only.Wink

Good point here.
Given that we listen to various music genres through the day, it would be wiser to move this thread to "general" music section.

I'm used to it being here in the prog recommendations section, but I'm happy either way.

I listened to this album earlier in the morning. Very subtile guitarist actually. And his CTI albums are jazz-fusion, with the cream of the jazz-rock crop accompanying him.

Have you heard Crossings?

No. Should I?

Sextant and Crossings are part of a trilogy with M'Wandishi. They are all recommended if you like your jazz-rocked dyed with avant-garde and african rhythms.

Yeah, if it has to be done. A lot better than restricting this to prog only.  Confused

Wouldn't go that far, but a sadly forgotten Kansas album. I love many of those songs, especially Icarus II.

But I bought some nice music during lunch time (the who, lucio battisti, bat for lashes, steely dan, chuck berry, willie nelson) and will post some covers later tonight (well I guess it will be early afternoon in your side of the world)...
