Finished :

Excellent album, somewhere between the disco/black music of young americans and the experimental berlin triology to come

Currently :

excellent guitarist, the album has Jim Keltner on drums !!! Jazz meets latin music and rhythm n' blues

I was thinking the same thing when I started it up Even my least favourite track (Moonlaspe Vertigo) is absolutely brilliant. Really fantastic album, easy 5* when I get around to reviewing it.
