Which machine?

The one on your album.

That machine doesn't talk.

Yeah. I'm getting so sick and tired of Pink Floyd...................................................................

Actually, WYWH sounds good right about now. I purposely don't listen to PF, that way I can appreciate it when I hear them.

Just a reference to the thread that wouldn't die. I'm neutral when it comes to PF.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing that thread locked or disappeared.

Seconded

Indeed it would.

Neat.  I've got the album dl'd, I'll give it a listen soon. Thumbs Up

He plays a kazoo, bangs some pans and eats a chicken drumstick.

That's Avant summed up quite nicely.

I'm not sure I'd call this release Avant though. Wink

Plus, it's Robert. LOL

But does he have balls of steel?

And does he know he's playing on an avant-garde hotchpotch of an album?  Well, I presume that's what is... but I guess it could sound like Kraftwerk with a title like that...

Maybe Rob is the machine.

Machine, what is the meaning of life?
Beer!

Machine, why isn't David in the band?
He doesn't drink enough beer

Machine, why is Henry Plainview such a cynical b*****d?
I want beer

Be sure to tell your thoughts to me in here and/or the thread I have set up for the album. Hope you like it!

Lmao. LOL

All I can say is it's definitely a progression from the first two releases (which were really one release split into two parts).

I'll give it a listen, Alex. I've only heard In Anima before.

I like the album art, it makes me think of War of the Worlds (the book, not the movie with Tom Cruise).

I like to think it's unique; I have no idea how I'd describe it.

It's akin to the beginning of that interview clip on GG's Interview album where it's like "So how would you describe your music?" LOL

Never mention that film in my presence ever again, Jon.  Or I'll kick your stool away as well.

I only mentioned it to make sure people realized I wasn't mentioning it.

Alright, sweet. Hope you like it.

It's quite a different beast from In Anima; so if you didn't like that at all, it's still worth a listen (or a few, I have no idea if what I write falls under the "grower" category or not).

Oh and don't mention that douchebag Scientologist actor guy either.

Thanks! I really like it too. I didn't think of that connection though; I can see what you mean.

I've never been a big fan of Ozzy-Sabbath, most of it feels like being hit by a sledgehammer made of really sticky glue. But gradually I'm warming up to it. I prefer Deep Purple when it comes to the classic 70s hard rock bands.

You still mentioned it. It sucked really bad from what I remember.
