You're right, Rob.
Including you Wink Just joking, TFTO is great, but I wouldn't call it the best EVER

But see, you and certain other shred room denizens wouldn't need a best album ever.  They just need some pots, pans, drum sticks, and a kazoo, and they can be happy in their own little avant world.  Wink

Ouch... How can you honestly say that?

How can you say any album is?

Easy.  It's called personal preference.

I.e.

If I had only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, which one would it be?

Still the Waters.

Obviously.

LOL Maybe you're right, well said.
I really couldn't think of a favourite album ever. I could probably make a top ten, though... Probably.

Strangely enough, none of the Avant-prog in my collection features any of the above.  Well, except drum sticks... 'cause you know, they use a conventional drum kit. *shock horror*

And, therein lies my point. No person can tell you what the greatest album is, so go with what you love.

I agree, quite beautiful really. You can't judge her by In Praise of Learning, although I have no problems with the vocals on that.

Wouldn't be in my first thousand.

Of course, neither would "let's throw a mule in a pool of Jell-O and record it while hitting ourselves in the balls."  Wink

That's not very good.

I don't have a preference as most female vocalists don't do anything for me 'cause they sound generic.

But Amy Denio. Heart

Or the lass from Non Credo.
