5 days ago I experienced my first encounter in Disney, and those were the parks I went (all, excluding the water theme parks). I'm curious which parks people in the forum prefer. Edited by The Quiet One - February 03 2010 at 14:44 |

And didn't visit me.
I've only visited Animal Kingdom out of these, and they had some very impressive shows. |

I'm pretty sure Hollywood Studios was my favorite, but I haven't been there in about 4 years. I remember enjoying Epcot as well

^yeah, I think Hollywood Studios was my favorite too, but that's because of Aerosmith's Roller Coaster and the awesome The Tower of Terror rides.
Overall, though, I think I prefer either Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom.

The Tower of Terror is excellent! I love it when you're at the very top of the ride and you have no idea when you're going to fall. My hands got pretty sweaty at that point |

Magic Kingdom has always been my favorite. I was meaning to ask you how your vacation was. I'm glad to see that you liked the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom. Epcot is nice from an educational standpoint and an eating different ethnic foods standpoint. The racetrack ride is pretty cool too. I'm not familiar with Hollywood Studios. Did that used to be MGM Studios or Universal Studios? I think that MGM was affiliated with Disney so I assume that it must have been MGM studios before.

Oh, yeah, MGM studios are also known as Hollywood Studios.
Anyways, yes, it was great, and I agree with Epcot, though I would add that the fireworks show at 10 or 9 pm are totally worth it, unlike the good but not that 'wow' fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
As a whole, Orlando > Miami.

Yep, that was a really good fireworks show at Epcot. What did you think of Space Mountain?

The first time we went to Epcot we had to wait 2 hours(!!) so we didn't go, however we(my brother and I) did wait for other rides like 1 hour and a half for them !
Anyways, the second time we went to Epcot which was our last day in Orlando, the only really good ride that my brother and I were missing was that, Space Mountain. I expected a lot from it, but at the end I was kind of dissapointed, Aerosmith's ride was, imo, much better.
Which one do you prefer, Aerosmith's or Space Mountain?

I'd like to visit Jurassic Park some time in the future. It's not Disney but I felt like saying it.

Aerosmith by a large margin. I find Space Mountain pretty disappointing and slow. |

I am the biggest Disney buff on the forum, I promise you that!
I personally love Epcot, and it's grown to be my favorite over the years. The Illuminations fireworks show is my favorite show of any of them over at WDW. I used to love the 'Studios (Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is indeed a fantastic ride, along with the ToT) but I find that's it's becoming more and more themeless and amorphous. Animal Kingdom is my least favorite, probably due to the fact that they have designed a park hotter than the surface of the sun.
I could go on for pages. I won't put you guys through that.

I used to like Epcot. Now I can't stand it. It's boring as hell.
Magic Kingdom will always be the most magical. One truly feels like a child in there.
But the best is Hollywood, mostly because of the Aerosmith coaster (though it's too short) and the Twlight Tower. The first time I went I did the coaster 4 times and the tower 4.
I haven't been to Animal Kingdom. It only has one coaster. I'm much into coasters. Try Sea world's Manta if you're in Florida. Or you can drive to Busch Gardens. Or if you are someplace else try any Six Flags park...
My favorite, though, will remain the Magic Kingdom.

^ I went to Busch gardens and was highly underwhelmed. I'll take 3 or 4 high-quality coasters over 15 mediocre, violent ones any day.

Magic Kingdom for me. I can remember the days that you had to use tickets to get on the rides. Epcot/Disney World is fantastic but the MK holds many childhood memories.
