It is actually 2 nights of live performances. 3 CDs for each night.

Ah. Are they 3 discs because they played 3 sets? If not, I'm confused, because it could have all fit on 4 discs.

I think that they wanted to keep the two days separate, so the first day consists of 3 discs and the 2nd day consists of 3 discs. I think that maybe because of the length of songs they couldn't fit each show on two discs without splitting songs. I'm not really sure what they were thinking.
