Listening to Rubycon now....
|
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I wasn't paying attention. I thought someone was quoting my post about how I'd review a TD album. I'm quite tired today and have been driving most of the afternoon (with a bit of food shopping in between).

You should definitely change that!
Try listening to some samples; I'm sure you could find something enjoyable. I love electronic music, there's so much creativity and variety.
|
Yet you listen to electronic music that's beep beep tweet tweet and <insert the most godawful blank lyrics of all time>.
|
Yeah, but I listen to alot more electronic than just Kraftwerk.
|
Almost 900 tracks by Kraftwerk, and I can't see the next big favourite name in the sig list.
Shift the balance the other way, then we'll talk.
|
It's taking ages for alot of stuff to climb up my charts because it takes so many plays. I have: Kraftwerk 891 Tangerine Dream 854 Jaga Jazzist 413 (not sure they count as full-blown electronic though) Boards of Canada 376 Brian Eno 363 Aphex Twin 350 Jean-Michel Jarre 269 Squarepusher 154 Global Communication 140 Massive Attack 121 Depeche Mode 117 And then a bunch of others that are below 100. Dang, needs more.

Indeed, probably my second favorite after Zeit.

You got me on How the West Was Won, but Led Zeppelin and 20 minute generic drum solos suck, so I don't care. :P But I can't think of any triple studio albums, and that's much different from a triple live album.

This is better than I remember most electronic music being...I may be a convert.
Though TD will never have 800 plays on my list though.
How do you get those kind of stats anyway?

Zeit rhymes with sh*te. Oh and Portishead and Massive Attack I don't mind. I like Portishead the most though.

I'd rather Moby Dick than Dazed And Confused, usually just as long.

I should record a sextuplet album. Forget double, triple, etc. 6 is where it's at.

Wikipedia lists Joe's Garage as a triple album, but I left it out of the previous mentions, because I'm not too convinced to think of it that way.

Is a Triple album in vinyl 6 sides or 5?
And damn, a Triple CD album is going to be massive...
