The harder I try to go to sleep, the more restless I feel. It is one of the few nights that I truly can't sleep, usually I can sleep, albeit early in the morning.

I have no alcohol, and I have the minor problem of it being illegal at my age and my parents would not be too keen on it either. I'd really like some Irish Cream right about now though. |

Oh... I keep forgetting the legal drinking age in the US is 21. Canterbury Cream is awesome.

I always wonder why the legal age is so high, while I can join the army, gamble, and smoke at 18, none of which I am likely to do. They should reverse them, IMO.

Yeah, it's pretty strange that you can join the Army, get shot at, and shoot at others, but you can't drink.

It doesn't really make any sense. The people who are irresponsible do it anyway, all it does is put them in jail if they are caught in possession, it doesn't stop them from doing it. Oh well, soon enough. This band is pretty good btw. |

I'm listening to the Evidence of Utopia EP... and it is 50 minutes long. Not bad so far |

Definitely not my favorite from the genre, but I like it.

I don't have much electronic, so I'm not sure how I would rate it. Probably more just chillout than anything else.

Yeah, it's feels like it has a lot of ambient influences. |

I love ambient music in general, provided there is a progression of noise, mood, timbre etc. I love just trawling around last.fm looking for free downloads. I figure if I can't buy albums, I can at least spread news about artists who want more exposure, which is why they make their music downloadable. Anyway, ambient music is great because it lets you make it into something wonderful. It's about what you leave out, not add. |

I agree, especially with the bit about the progression. I really like Zeit for that, if you listen to it in the same way you would a Yes album for example, you get very little out of it. Ambient music has to be appreciated differently. I think that is one of the main reasons that so few people like Prog Electronic compared to the more popular genres here. |
