Aumgn bro. It amazes me every time I hear it. I could never play like that though.
LOL
Idunno though, regular practice and determination does wonders.

True, but that guy was a machine. He plays the same thing for nearly 18 minutes, and makes it interesting the whole time. Seriously underrated.

According to the liner notes in the CD booklet, the track is "Composed in a fashion way ahead of its time, by editing rhythm loops..." so I'm not sure if he's actually playing the beat the whole time.  Whether or not he does on the album, he did live, and that's enough to impress me.

If it is loops, they are done well. Wikipedia says that he played the entire time, and it says they used tape-editing. Maybe they looped something other than him?

I'm not sure.  However the song was made, it was made perfectly.

I'm having fun listening to the Krautrock streaming samples.

Oh, I just applied for a job at the local dining commons.  Not exactly what I want to do, but I need money if I'm going to keep getting music.

Pretty much. Approve

Assuming I manage to get a job, I think I'm going to really start exploring Krautrock with the money I earn.  I've got a decent chunk of the available Zeuhl (and I can, of course, continue getting albums from it and other genres) but as far as Krautrock goes I've barely scratched the surface and made myself want more.

It guessed Vander in one try for me. I guess a French drummer is pretty easy to guess.

Damn it.

I was thinking of Robert Wyatt and it came up with Phil Collins. LOL

I was thinking of Vander for it earlier and it came up with Brian Eno. Confused

It got Zappa on the first guess.  Not very surprising, though.

f**k me, it guessed Peter Hammill.

The questions asked could have lead to any vocalist who'd been in a four piece band and who played guitar and had a solo career and was English...

Yay, the Krautrock streaming samples introduced me to another band I need to get albums from...Annexus Quam.

Teehee.  It got Morrigan correct (I won't say guessed, as it's obviously all about the questions and answers and what matches in the database).

I may just see if it can find me.

If it came up with a photo of me and "Idiot who posts on P.A.".  I'd be mightily impressed.
