Halleluhwah makes me wish I could play drums.
Aumgn bro. It amazes me every time I hear it. I could never play like that though.
Idunno though, regular practice and determination does wonders.
True, but that guy was a machine. He plays the same thing for nearly 18 minutes, and makes it interesting the whole time. Seriously underrated.
According to the liner notes in the CD booklet, the track is "Composed in a fashion way ahead of its time, by editing rhythm loops..." so I'm not sure if he's actually playing the beat the whole time. Whether or not he does on the album, he did live, and that's enough to impress me.
If it is loops, they are done well. Wikipedia says that he played the entire time, and it says they used tape-editing. Maybe they looped something other than him?
I'm not sure. However the song was made, it was made perfectly.

Assuming I manage to get a job, I think I'm going to really start exploring Krautrock with the money I earn. I've got a decent chunk of the available Zeuhl (and I can, of course, continue getting albums from it and other genres) but as far as Krautrock goes I've barely scratched the surface and made myself want more.
