I could be.

After playing the Beatles Rock Band with my brother after he got it for Christmas break, I've actually come to appreciate a few of their things. And some other songs now get on my nerves more than they did before, so I think it's an even trade. LOL

I've grown to not mind some of it though.
That is a step in the right direction. Wink

I don't think I'll ever really enjoy their stuff enough to make me want to listen to it on my own, but my appreciation has at least become more reasonable.

It's mainly their early stuff I really can't stand.

Should your location be changed to Dreary So. California?
Nah, it'll be sunshine and probably warm too, in a week or so.

I enjoy their early stuff, but I did go through a phase when I didn't.  Really though, quite frankly, their early stuff is to then what the Jonas Brothers stuff is to today so it is understandable that many PAers don't like their earlier stuff.  Especially you younger guys.

There's got to be a wise guy in every crowd. Wink  As a general rule, I've noticed many of the younger PAers are mostly likely not to like the poppy Beatles stuff.

Enough said.

Rob actually hates the second part.

So you can talk to me, I find good almost  entirely.

Yep, I read his review after this initial post.  I kind of see what he is saying on the second half, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be after reading his review. LOL

Exactly, how did you know? Shocked

Well, actually, I'd replace Amon Duul II with Ash Ra Tempel. Maybe they'll click on me with the second listen... These are the four kraut bands I've listened to up till now. There's also Yatha Sidhra, but they're nothing like the other four.

Absolutely not. Earthly Powers loses consistency, and Through Time is not really special, after the first sequence. Cosmic Powers, instead, is fabulous.

Amazing first few pieces, absolutely lousy second half.

That first piece to me sounds like Tales from Topographic Oceans.
