Led Bib was pretty good, but not amazing. I'd give it 4 stars.

Don't know about Jon, but that's what I was talking about.

Whichever version comes in this:

To be fair, they could have won and still not got any coverage.  Florence and the Machine and Bat for Lashes are far more hipster than what actually won (which wasn't very good).
Robert Wyatt is a completely different category because he was a famous musician long before that. And yes, Polar Bear has some of the same sonic problems for me that Led Bib does, but being nominated isn't what makes them, or Portico Quartet, or anybody else hipster garabe. It's inherent.

It doesn't matter whether or not winning would make them famous or what the other contestants were, you did not want them to win because of the potential cover. And that's not something I can even begin to understand.

Indeed, that's the 1980 rerecorded version with Patricia Dallio.

OK James, I had only heard the song Peepers when I said that, Polar Bear being hipster isn't entirely fair. But they still have the same of problem of me listening and then realizing halfway through the song that there's still 3 more minutes left.

I actually did want them to win.

However as often happens with these things is that the bands/musicians get popular and make more mainstream music.

Led Bib have never been hipster.  Neither have Polar Bear or Acoustic Ladyland.

Bat for Lashes and Florence and the Machine are though.

Peepers is off their new album which hasn't been released yet.  Check out their actual albums.  Seriously.

Don't just judge a band by some tunes you've heard.

That article irks me.

As if there's  something inherently wrong with either being single, or not, but just wanting to dine alone.  Are we incapable of spending time with our selves and our thoughts, without some kind of distraction anymore?

Let alone worrying about what the a****le at the next table thinks about us.  HORRORS!  That person is ALONE......eewwwwwwwww.....what a loser.  How did we get to be so insecure and self-centered to worry about this sh*t.

Social conformity sucks.  Seeing a film or dining alone won't make you a monster.  No matter what someone's blog says.

Thumbs Down Indeed
...that moment you realize you like "Mob Rules" better than "Heaven and Hell"

Thread is called "Eating alone at a sit down-place"

Hilarity ensues.

Ah but then there is the situation when you spend a lot of time with a female who happens to be just a friend and all your friends then think you're going out and it ultimately effects your friendship with said girl.

That is annoying.

Man, you shouldn't read NeoGaf. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever eaten a nice restaurant alone. It would be kind of awkward, I guess. Having to go to the movies with somebody else is definately stupid, though. Of course, I don't go to the movies.
