I haven't seen them, but kids in a sandbox and the guy with the jar sound much worse than 2 girls 1 cup, which is really overrated as a shock thing. Just like music, nothing that's really extreme can be widely known.

That pic makes me think of quotes like this:
"And let us never forget that the human race with technology is like an alcoholic with a barrel of wine"

I gather it's not GY!BE although I thought it was.

If it's a guitar building up slowly to a crescendo it might be. I almost listened to that today.

It's at the end of the film and sounds like GY!BE as it does indeed have that guitar crescendo.

I personally really love it.

I didn't like "Drop your Fatty Toes Like Aerials to Hell" that much.  It has its moments though.

Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada.
THAT's what you should listen. Very dark, very great.

Yeah, I think it would have taken me a bit longer if I had started with Köhntarkösz as well.  I got my intro with MDK, though, and from that second on I was absolutely in love with the band.

I picked up Kohntarkosz 1 & 2 from itunes yesterday for cheap, just to see what all the fuss was about.

I had this kind of thoughts last time I listened to it...

Also,

Moya was the first post-rock I've ever heard (actually I didn't even knew post-rock existed before I joined PA). I tried the PA sample. It blew my mind. Even today, after almost four years, I can still recall that experience in full.
