This is a nice post-rock band with one album released in 2009 through the Asiluum net label. You can download the album for free here: http://asiluum.com/site/2009/03/02/semiosis-pictural/. Btw the album has a physical release too (I have it), just in case this is needed in order to fulfill some requirements.

I am willing to write the bio if they are accepted.

I wrote a post personally to the PR Team, as soon as I've heard this band's music (couple of months ago, that is). It got lost.

So bump +1.

Listened to this about 3 times now, I definitely support the addition to post-rock.

If necessary, I'll help with the discography when/if they're added.

So Semiosis were accepted quite some time ago and the addition wasn't done because I didn't write the promised biography until now. Finally did it... so:

SEMIOSIS are a post-rock project from Craiova, Romania, consisting of the young musicians Alexandru SEIDIU and Şerban ILICEVICI. Childhood friends but at the same time musicians with different backgrounds (hardcore punk for Şerban and electronica for Alex), they got together in 2007 to write the soundtrack for a film that was not to be. After two years of working with interruptions on this project, they released it as an independent album titled Pictural in the spring of 2009. The music consists of traditional melancholic post-rock based on guitar and drums, supplemented with sampling and effects (some added by the guest musician and record producer Marius COSTACHE) which add an extra industrial rock-like dimension to the music. The album was released through the ASILUUM net label and can be obtained as a free download or as a CD with superb artwork. Since the release of Pictural, SEMIOSIS have started playing live and working on a new album.
