My two favourite Magma tracks happen to be on Retrospektiw I-II.

Although the original Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh is sufficient, it's not one track but lots of small ones, unlike the version I just mentioned.

JOEL: YAY!

Do something more important with your life.  Isn't James a living public service announcement?

ONE!

EDIT:
You can get any tracks off MDK though.

True but why would you just purchase one or two tracks from M.D.K.?

That defeats the object of it.  M.D.K. is a suite of tracks and should be purchased together.  It's like reading half a book which finishes mid sentence.

That reminds me; I saw Cale:Drew in a CD store the other day, but it was ridiculously overpriced

If you think you should pick two songs from MDK, go with Da Zeuhl Wortz Mekanïk and Mekanïk Kommandöh

Yeah - also, Joel, Cale:Drew is possibly the best Kiwi prog album ever made. Don't get it overpriced though, you can get it cheaper on order or through legal downloads.

It was 35AUD which is ridiculous for a standard jewel case CD; Does the band have an official online store? I can't find any purchase links on their MySpace.

James, have you listened to Péloquin-Sauvageau and Dull Schicksal?
