The Underfall Yard is 22:48, but I guess that would only count if that is the phenomenal song to which you are referring.

Could it be your tags on the mp3s?

There's only one entry for One Shot; it holds only a description of a French hip-hop collective, and mentions nothing about the French jazz/fusion band.  Yet the artist is tagged with appropriate tags for each.
Kino is sort of like that.  There is the Neo band Kino, which has members from Arena and Marillion and RPWL (i think) and the solo artist KiNo, who released an art rock album last year.

It was, because for some reason they showed up both ways.  I have autocorrect set on Last.FM however, so it combined almost all of the other bands who get multi-tagged either with or without the "The".  Vanden Plas is the only band that Last.FM didn't combine because there is a "The" band and a non-"The" band.  I have explained the error to them a few times, but I think that they are unable to fix it because there are two actual bands.  I have all of my MP3s tagged the same way now for going forward, but the count will always be incorrect since it is split between the two artists.

It ain't.

I've actually heard the title track more than once and didn't care too much for it (not that it was bad).  Of course it's a long one, so it will take more patience to digest it.

However, it is the second longest track that I think is excellent ("Victorian Brickwork").  If you like Genesis' A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering, it will appeal to you.

That's too bad.  That isn't one of the free downloads from Last.FM.

The other three can be streamed for free on last.fm.

Thumbs Up

Let me know what you think about that particular track (and the whole album if you listen to it all).

I've got about 10 minutes left on this Earthless album, and then lunch break, so I think that I'll tackle Big Big Train this afternoon.

This Earthless live album is pretty wild.  I downloaded it from eMusic, and it consists of 2 songs.  The first clocked in at 47 minutes and the second clocked in at 35 minutes.  It is basically 82 minutes of a jamming guitar solo with the bass player and drummer just banging along to keep up with the guitarist.  This isn't really my normal cup of tea, but I think that I like it.  Sort of like taking the 5 or 10 minute jam from Cream or Black Sabbath and extending it for the entire show.

I got that with my earlier listen Earache:Metal Masters. A compilation of 15 songs from modern day black and metal artists.  It was an excruciatingly awful hour-long listen.  That is one free compilation that might find itself deleted from my collection. Dead  Back in my day, metal was actually accessible and I could listen to it.  I really can't listen to most modern day metal, unless it is in the vein of traditional Dream Theater-type metal.

Well I'm about through with my first listen of Big Big train's 2009 album.

One song on the album is phenomenal.  Everything else I can completely do without- I really don't see what is so marvelous about this album (so many other sites are hailing it as one of the greatest progressive rock albums ever and certainly album of the year for 2009).

We'll see what additional listens in the days to come yield.
Sometimes one song doth an awesome album make.

Tarkus is a case in point, but "Tarkus" is over 20 minutes long.  Wink  (And most of the other tracks aren't that bad either).

I was totally going to mention Tarkus.

Tarkus is a complete and utter heap of f**king sh*t.
