Thanks for the best wishes everyone.  Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks.  Of course Jan 13 marked 11 months Amber has been missing.  Some leads being worked on but after so many dead ends I will just keep them to myself for now.  Hopefully they will turn up something substantial.
 
I wish everyone a Happy New year.
 
For distractions while waiting for Amber we saw the Holdsworth/Bozzio/Levin/Mastelotto show on Ties.  Very good straight improv.  No set list. Just get up and play.  Some of it was meh but other parts were unbelievably brilliant.  Tonight seeing The Steve Morse Band.

Well good folks. 
Saturday will mark one year to the day that Amber went missing.  Sadly we have nothing new to report on the investigation.  We will be marking the day as a fund raiser for the continued search (all of this stuff is so expensive) .  We have a walk-a-thon scheduled, a raffle and a silent auction.  I don't suppose many of you can come but if you wish to make any donation at any time follow the instructions on this web site:

If that guy did anything unlawful at all (which seems likely). I guess he can look forward to some interesting years in prison. Not that it's much of a consolation...

See my comments on the Capital Punishment thread, if it's searchable.  I do not understand why these guys are out on the streets.  We have them.  They are contained.  And then they are released, and invariably this happens.  What's the title of that first Metallica album?

Police are investigating if this is related to Amber. 
This has garnered way more press than Amber alone could have.

They Found Chelsea's king body today.  This guy is a monster. He raped a 14 year old girl at her parents house.  He is been charged in this case and is going to be charged in assault charge in another case in Dec at the same park that Chelsea was found.  He also at the time of Amber's disappearance living just a 6 minute walk away from her house. The freakiest thing personally for me is this guy was a senior at my daughters High School and they were in the choir together.  He even dated one of her friends.  This is terrible.

You are correct.  This is not the appropriate thread, and I apologize for that.  This should be about Amber.  That being said, I'm assuming any detective working her case is going to suddenly be taking a keen interest in the guy.

For the time being, I am still hoping and praying for a positive outcome for Amber's case.
