"The Herald" is, I know that music is upbeat, but in a twisted, raw, tribal sense. The vocals add a lot too.

I mean, I'm more likely to be "stirred" by Shub-Niggurath or Univers Zéro than Comus. 'cause they're dark in a different way.

Try Agalloch or even Gwynbleidd for stuff that's darker than this.
Gosh, this isn't remotely dark.
Those who think it is, need their head examining.

Eric Satie's Gymnopedie pieces are "darker" than this in a melancholy way. I'd also say Moonlight Sonata is too.

Well, I can't compare because it's the only album I have. Nivraym is already ordered and will arrive soon.
All the songs I've heard sounded amazing.
