Catch-22 gets better after being read a few times, it takes multiple reads just to get everything straight, and like Henry said, it works well.

Oh yeah, I started three pages in a row. Cool

I think Catch-22 is fine the first time around, but I'm the kind of person who will go back and scan previous pages if I'm confused about a reference to something.

I do that more now. It probably would have been useful when I first read it. The most confusing aspect was the whole Milo plot. I was too young to understand how it all worked.

See you guys tomorrow, I can't stay awake much longer.

Was that the prostitution thing? I read it like 4 years ago, I can only vaguely recall certain elements of the plot.

Seriously though, I hate Kurt Vonnegut. He is one of the most annoying writers I've ever read. Saying And so it goes twice a page for 300 pages is not clever, it's just infuriating! At least I finished Slaughter-House Five, and there were some good parts in that, I couldn't even make it past the first few pages of Breakfast of Champtions, even though I like the crying pyramid eye design.

Soft Machine's Slightly All the Time is a disturbing track, I feel that from the first five or six minutes every single bass line has been taken and used by some other bands later on. The main line is in Absoluuttinen Nollapiste's Tonttirajat sovitaan humalassa, I couldn't place the other ones when listening a moment ago...

I can't say that any of the albums listed in your poll would qualify as a favorite of mine, especially since I've probably heard less than 5 of them.

I have Dune and I've yet to read it.

I have, however, played the PC games.

The end of Moon In June is disturbing. Big smile
