![]() I want to try and convince someone to make this my wedding song: I would make sure all doors are locked before it plays, nobody leaves until it's over. ![]() |

Nothing like a little champagne and white noise to get in the mood for a honeymoon, eh?

Don't listen to Chris, Bedlam is awesome. I have no desire to hear Octahedron because soft Mars Volta is usually the worst part of the album.
Urgh, my hand has more personality than that.
Oh, I see it now.

Well, he does have albums named Music for Bondage Performance, so idk, maybe. It would mostly be for my enjoyment in watching everyone else suffer. If I could gather a larger crowd in a way other than a wedding I would do it then. I have to go Wyatting some time. ![]() |

I went to a concert tonight (the first day of classes) for extra credit. Turns out it was experimental electronic compositions made by various staff members. Most of it was preeeeeeeeeeeeetty out there. I liked it though, and the last song was a computer-generated spontaneous composition for 5 people (flute, accordion, sax, bass clarinet, and oboe) to improvise on. It was awesome.

Nope, so it had the added effect of surprise. They did a lot of cool stuff though, and the first guy's piece sounded a lot like TD-style stuff. Unfortunately it was only a couple minutes long, seemed cut short. They had a few pieces in 8-channel sound, which were pretty cool. One song was ping-pong sounds being modified for a while. |

A good amount of the people seemed to enjoy it, yeah. I think most of them knew what was in store for them though, and you could tell some people probably had trouble staying there the entire time to get the extra credit for the class.

Just went from finishing up Koenjihyakkei's Nivraym straight into Klaus Schulze's X. Nothing like a jarring transition.

Have you listened to any samples of them yet? If not, I suggest you do so before you get any of their stuff, last.fm has some tracks available.

I quite like the samples they have here on PA
![]() Last.FM isn't free in Australia though. I've been listening to tracks off Angherr Shisspa on Youtube for a while, though. |

Everybody keeps talking about that band whose name I until yesterday always read Koenhiyakkei, makes me feel like I'm missing out on something.

When I first heard of Koenjihyakkei I thought I'd never be able to remember how to spell it.
