Eager to achieve 2000 Big smile

Also, I'm excited about seeing AIR tomorrow evening. Do you know them? They're the best pop band of the decade (except maybe for Depeche Mode, which I'm also seeing soon).

I've heard of them, but unfortunately nothing by them. They're French, aren't they?

Gabriel, thanks!

Joel, yes. They're major, you're missing quite a lot - if you like pop, that is.

Here are a few samples:

ignore the video for the next one:

the videos from the official EMI youtube channel have incredibly crappy sound:

and last but not least:

I watched the first two, but the second two had an embedding block request EMI!

I really liked the second one although it got a bit repetitive. The first one was alright although the acted voice cut-ins were annoying.. Oh, and I don't have a thing against pop music, I just generally don't like it

Cute.

A 42-year-old Englishman shows off on his knowledge of English and Canadian (and one Dutch band) progressive rock against a 35-year-old Swede.

Finally starting to get the feeling back in my hands...hurts like all hell. And after reviewing my flow chart for a 4 year graduation, I think I just got a little bit sick to my stomach.

Anybody else here that has/in the process of getting a math/engineering major?

Wait a minute.

"I loved that album when I was thirteen years old," says Wilson of Marillion's debut.

Let's do the math...Wilson was born 1967 (so says Wikipedia and "Time Flies").  Script for a Jester's Tear came out in March of 1983.

That means Wilson was at least sixteen when the album came out.

Huh.

I am being pointlessly pretentious.

Like my children.

I need to go to sleep.
