For a prog rock website, there sure seems to be a lot of retroactive sympathy/apathy here. I like it.

Personally I'd like it to have a slight touch of colour on the top there as well - as exemplified here :-) |

I don't like this new logo. Very boring and doesn't look as professional as the old one.

Apathy implies indifference... I am anything but indifferent. However I'm clearly in the minority so I won't labour the point. Looks like a done deal anyway.

Yea, the white background somewhat takes away from it. I like yours better. It still looks nice though. |

Looks like Progarchives-meets-trailer truck brand... It's like PA with a taste of country music...
Not bad. |

That was why I wrote symapthy as well. There seems to be two schools to thought with many members here. Either don't change what is established and safe, or it does not matter anyway. It was a generalisation. |

EW! Why is there even the circle in the middle? Why does the color on the bottom of the P and A fade out when there's no gradient on the rest of them? Why even have the top and bottom of the letters white at all? What on earth are those extending lines for?
I can't say that I was ever a big fan of the old logo (gradients!), but it's much better than this one.

lol, the site was blue once? Wow . . . Well, purple is my favorite color, so I would never protest anything changing to that.

I've looked at it for a while today, so I guess I'll post my honest opinion.
I think it looks like a logo for a fast food chain. |
