Pop-punk, mainstream pop and rap.
A lot of indie has also grown on my nerves over the years sadly...

Allow me to quote the great Buddy Rich, when asked if he had any allergies:

"....yeah, country music."

It scares that that you've actually heard Lady Gaga.

I have no idea what the difference is between Rap and Hip Hop. They both = garbage.

I would assume so.

The most perfect definition of mainstream pop that could be aspired to by man

Even that genre is much better than things like reggaeton or tex-mex. If you think of it rationally, pop music, that one you talk about that is a product, is specifically made to please. Musically, all its ingredients are MADE TO PLEASE YOUR BRAIN. The reasons Harry mentions are almost totally subjective and need cognitive processes to come to. The music you really dislike is that one which you don't have to think of reasons to dislike, the one that makes you feel like eating your least favorite food.

The most mainstream music here in Argentina make me sick: reggaeton, cumbia, lame pop music and the kind.

When I thought cumbia villera was the worst music I would ever hear, reggaeton appeared out of nowhere. I still can't decide wich one of those I hate more.

I went with rap, but like many other people mentioned, I don't know the difference between hip-hop and rap.

Mainstream pop... well, yeah, current stuff sucks, but since I like some old mainstream pop, I can't vote for that (gimme some Blossom Dearie anytime Big smile)

Cumbia is ugly music, but "simply" that. Reggaeton on the other hand, is complete crap.

I heard Reggaeton once.
Once was enough.

Pretty much exactly like BrokeNCYDE.  In fact it inspired it, though methinks I should have called it Screamo-Emo-Crunk kidcore.

As for rockin' hardcore kidcore, Black Out Band is so awesome, it won a Grammy.  Not bad for 11 or so year olds. I think I was thirteen before I got my first Hammy.

Brokencyde is usually one of the winners when we figure out the worst band any of us have heard at school.  Last time, they tied with The Locust.

The only thing Brokencyde should inspire is fear and hatred.

Indie.
Emo.
Rap/Hip-hop

Pop is also quite terrible. Though I do have a soft spot for 80s pop...so I technically cant vote for that. Though todays pop....*shivers*

That's true.  I still don't like the Locust, though.
