And Daniel O'Sullivan is on Ulver now? Shocked

He's friends with the band and may have performed live with them... where did you get the idea he was on the new album?

He's in the band now. Check their myspace.

Also. http://www.roadburn.com/2009/12/ulver-cover-of-electric-prunes-classic-available-for-streaming/

f**k me.

Wow.

Although it's a covers album... poo.

That'd be an awful thing if it were anyone else. But Ulver will make it worthwhile.

Mum: so, Luke, how did you celebrate new year?
Luke: erm... I didn't.  I missed it... well, I didn't miss it, I just wasn't paying attention when the time came... Ulver got the better of me.
Mum: oh... well you're just silly then, aren't you son!

I celebrated it by playing Apples to Apples with my family while complaining about the dull selection of the local rock radio stations they were playing.  They weren't as amused by the second part as I was. LOL

I sort of half-heartedly celebrated.  I was at the Metal Club listening to something crap and they forgot to do a countdown... all that happened was the DJ said Happy New Year! at the time.  Only the time on my mobile 'phone said 11:58... hahahahaha.

I did end up dancing with some tasty girl for quite a while though... only for her boyfriend to keep looking on.  She was the one dancing with me... so it wasn't my fault!  If she'd been single, she'd have been well up for it.  Ah well.

Jon, you need Black Oni.

It's not my top 3 album for no reason, you know. Wink

Oooh, I may have a Present marathon later, as I now have all their albums in various formats... but then again, I may not have a Present marathon as I'm tired.

It's somewhere in my music wish list, which is several hundred albums long at the moment (and still growing rapidly).  There are quite a few albums I need, really.

Woah, radio stations can actually play good artists like Robert Wyatt?  That just makes me even angrier with the local stations. Angry  The best thing we get is an occasional play of Roundabout by Yes and the same three Pink Floyd songs over and over again.

The same station interviewed Led Bib. Big smile

Which is ironic, 'cause they're not a music playing station. LOL
