Minimalism is one of the worst musical movements to ever exist. Playing the same crap over and over again is not clever!

The album after that is darker, actually.

I'll have to check that one out too (if it's possible to find anywhere online).

Kayo Dot are on the border for me.

Mike, I forgot to ask you: did you work on the editing for that Fox commercial or were you filming the actual show? Either way, it's like a like woah that you're on something that is NATIONALLY TELEVISED. Even if the show looked quite dire. :P

NICE!

Do you get paid more if you're shooting for something like 24 instead of a new series that nobody cares about yet?

When shows take place over a long period of time (for example, The Office, The Wire), do they actually break down the set and film again in the winter, or do they just make the actors suffer through heavy clothing? Because it seems like it would be a huge pain to have to go through setting everything up again just to film some episodes.

The longer a series goes the more money it has - but the crew get paid union scale. Being on a series is ideal because you work full time. When a show is on hiatus the stage stays built, but we often shoot on location. We shoot through the winter and the actors wear heavy jackets between takes - if there's snow in a shot where there's not supposed to be snow then two guys walk around with blowtorches. I'm not even kidding

Meh, new year's eve is pretty much like any other day, only more noisy Thumbs Down One of our dogs is scared to death of all things popping and banging and flashing, so she had to be medicated out of her mind and we're staying home to watch over her. But a couple of friends are coming over to eat some tortillas and watch a couple of Bond movies, so it's no all bad Smile But I do sincerely hope to see the day when fireworks are banned from general public...

^Thats happened here in Australia with the fire works, they're only publicly done by organisations on christmas eve, New year's and The Queen's Birthday. Its pretty good, because the proper shows are actually good and the workers don't go doing stupid stuff with them.

I'm just happy we don't have kids my age running around blowing up mail boxes and the like anymore. What did you think of Leaving Your Body Map?
